His combination of whole baby new potato “nuggets” swimming in a sea of Idaho mashed potatoes, sautéed onions, rosemary, spicy succotash, sour cream and cheddar cheese will make your taste buds think they just struck gold.

الفنان المصري محمد أحمد المصري الشهير بأبو لمعة هو واحد من أشهر نجوم الكوميديا الذين قدموا على مدى سنوات طويلة أعمال فنية لازالت تجد مشاهديها حتى الآن وهو أيضا واحد من نجوم فرقة ساعة لقلبك التي اشتهرت إذاعيا وسينمائيا.
المصري ابتكر شخصية أبولمعة التي عرف بها وهو شخص كثير الكذب يفتعل قصصا وهمية وقد لاقت هذه الشخصية نجاحا منقطع النظير خاصة بعد انضمام الفنان فؤاد راتب الشهير بالخواجة بيجو ليشكل الاثنان ثنائيا فنيا على مدى عشرات السنين.

محمد أحمد المصري ولد في الأول من شهر فبراير عام 1924 بمدينة الزقازيق – شمال مصر- حصل على بكالوريوس الفنون التطبيقية ثم دبلوم معهد التربية للمعلمين عام 1949 وعمل مدرسًا ثم ناظرًا للمدرسة السعيدية وهي من أشهر وأقدم مدارس القاهرة حتى وصل إلى درجة مدير للعلاقات العامة بوزارة التربية والتعليم.

أبولمعة شارك في العديد من الأعمال الفنية مثل أفلام “عطشانة”، “المنحوس”، “عذراء وثلاثة رجال”، “كله تمام”، “العاب ممنوعة”، “احترسي من الرجال ياماما”، وفي التليفزيون شارك في بعض المسلسلات منها “مطلوب عروسة”، “أنا وانت وبابا في المشمش”. وقد توفي الفنان محمد أحمد المصري في 4 مايو عام 2002

Negotiating what is ostensibly the Scottish Olympics with a hangover is a daunting prospect, but all the haggis-throwing, Aberdeen Angus burgers, highland dancing, cullen skink and making friends with owls called Winky soon sets her right.
