These days, by the time a big tentpole franchise movie like this one starts rolling, there’s a little more public awareness of minor details like, say, who’s going to be in it. If not a title, character names, and maybe even a few leaked photos of costumes or set designs.

So the fact we know pretty much nothing, or at least nothing that’s been confirmed – is intriguing. J.J. Abrams has always been particularly cagey about keeping secrets (Cloverfield, anyone?).
