In this video I give an overview of the Sony PSVita, the successor to the PSP and previously known as the NGP. The Vita keeps the same specs as it had previously with a 5 inch OLED touchscreen, quad core processor, six axis motion control, front and rear facing cameras, a rear touchpanel and both Wi-Fi and 3G models. Sony also showed off several PSVita games at the E3 2011 press conference including the Uncharted: Golden Abyss, LittleBigPlanet, Street Fighter X Tekken as well as a version of BioShock.

Now there is both a release date and price. The Sony PSVita will be available later this year for $249 for the Wi-Fi model and $299 for the 3G model.

Today at WWDC 2011 Apple unveiled iOS 5, the latest version of the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. iOS 5 brings a lot of new features including Notification Center which brings a new notification system similar to Android.

There also is Twitter integration which will allow you to log into Twitter from the Settings page and Tweet from several apps such as Maps, Safari and YouTube. Safari has also been improved with Reader, Reading List and Tabbed Browsing. In the Camera app you can take photos from the lockscreen, take a photo with the + volume button and do some retouching and photo editing from the app.

PC Free is a big new feature that allows you to wirelessly sync your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad without needing a computer ever, even to activate. Firmware updates are also now downloaded over the air. iMessage is another big feature that brings BBM style messaging to the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
