The Mandalorian Season 2: The Truth Behind The Jedi And Her Secret Mission | Star Wars Canon Fodder

The Mandalorian Season 2 has delivered nothing but action-packed fan service and in the hit live-action Star Wars series’ latest episode continues that trend! Din Djarin and The Child (a.k.a. Baby Yoda) are still zipping all over the galaxy to find The Jedi, and since The Mandalorian Chapter 13 is titled “The Jedi,” viewers can reasonably expect somebody with a lightsaber to pop up in this one and help Din Djarin with his whole child care situation. Directed by Dave Filoni, The Jedi brings The Mandalorian in close contact with a character we’ve met before, while the episode sets up even more character reveals from the future. Join host Jesse Gomez for this episode of IGN’s Star Wars Canon Fodder.

Long before The Mandalorian Season 2 had even begun, fans speculated that a certain Jedi, trained by Anakin Skywalker would show up in The Mandalorian Season 2 to train The Child. Who is that rumored character? Ahsoka Tano, that’s who. Are we saying she’s IN this episode? Of course not, we’re just cramming her name into this here description as many times as possible for no reason at all. Except you know that’s not true. Ahsoka Tano. If you’ve ever hoped to see Ahsoka Tano in live-action, you might want to check out this episode of The Mandalorian Season 2. The episode is title The Jedi so draw your own conclusions, but there is a lightsaber fight in this one.

But enough about lightsabers, let’s change the subject to former Imperial Grand Admirals. Ones of Chiss descent. Ring any bells? First we got Bo Katan Kryze, next we got Ahsoka Tano and after this episode, now we’re expecting Grand Admiral Thrawn as well. Grand Admiral Thrawn could be Ahsoka tano’s real target as she and Sabine Wren are still on the hunt for Ezra Bridger. Star Wars Rebels references abound in The Mandalorian Season 2. This is the way!

Oh, also: The Child (a.k.a. Baby Yoda) has a real name! It’s Grogu! If you’re still reading this description, heads up there’s spoilers. Yes, Grogu is Baby Yoda’s real name and he was born in the Jedi temple on Coruscant. Is he the love-child of Master Yoda and Master Yaddle? Only time will tell. Grogu!
