There’s nothing in the world of cinema like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although most studios are trying to recreate their own version of it, there’s still nothing that compares to the MCU. And because of that, Marvel is able to get away with some stuff that nobody else can. Like putting out a crazy number of superhero movies without having everyone succumb to “superhero fatigue.” Or making movies in completely different genres from one to the next. Or planting tiny story elements that they only pay off several years down the line… Making an entire scene just to fix a plot hole from an old movie. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a weird beast.
