2018’s Fortnitemares event is so much better than the event that happened last year. We didn’t have all these amazing Halloween skins to choose from back then and we also didn’t need to dance in front of gargoyles either. This year though, Epic Games took things up a notch and introduced us to some new creatures with a bit of a confusing name.
Shards of Kevin the purple cube can be found all over the Fortnite map spawning zombies, oh sorry Epic Games, we mean cube monsters, all around the map. Looking like something straight out of Save The World as opposed to the battle royale, these beasts have given us some of the most ridiculous fails and glitches we’ve ever seen in the game. There are a lot of movies out there, and with every popular movie comes a fan base to follow. There are perhaps no fans more dedicated, more enthusiastic, and more investigative than Star Wars fans. They are obsessed with their favourite movie franchise, and everything about it. So much so, that they have become unbelievable at predicting what is going to happen in the future, often based off of little more than a teaser trailer and an idea. Fans have gotten so good at predicting these plot points, that they almost kind of ruin it for themselves! They predicted a ton of things that turned out to be true, like the fact that Darth Maul didn’t actually die in Phantom Menace, or that jar Jar Binks would turn out to be a Sith Lord. How about the fact that Obi Wan knew R2-D2 and C-3P0 from before, or that Boba Fett also made it out alive, and that Luke had used a compass from the video game to find a hidden Jedi Temple. They guessed that E.T The Extra Terrestrial actually takes place in the same universe as Star Wars, that Poe would be saved by Finn because of a jacket in the trailer, that Kylo Ren turned Luke’s students to the dark side and they became the Knights of Ren, that Princess Leia would have a special connection with the force as well, that Kylo Ren would have actually been trained by Luke before turning to the dark side, and that Luke would exile himself out of guilt. That’s not even all that these amazingly dedicated fans have predicted, and it sure won’t be the last!
